Hello families! Are you looking for fun and entertaining ways to break up your normal routine? With spring right around the corner it seems like we’re all ready to get out of our houses and have some fun. Here are 5 things you can do with your kids in Grand Rapids and Byron Center this spring.
Take a walk through the Fulton Street Farmer’s Market to find ingredients for your lunch or dinner. Started in 1922, this farmer’s market recently got a face lift. We’re convinced you’ll love it as much as your kids will!
We absolutely love the gardens! Inside or out, regardless of the season, there is always something to do! Take a visit and let us know what you think of it on our Facebook page.
Let your children explore and learn at the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum! Located in the heart of Grand Rapids, you won’t be disappointed with this outing. With tons of hands on activities, you’ll all have a fun afternoon bonding and playing with one another.
We absolutely love our local library! You can stop in for story time on Tuesday or Wednesday morning, play in the children’s room or just visit and check out some books. But, no matter what you do, just make sure you say hi to Miss Barb for us. Oh yes, and don’t forget to find Katie L, the library elephant, hiding in the bookshelves.
Did you know that the Whitecaps have afternoon ball games? It’s the perfect way to get outside and spend the afternoon. Have a hotdog for lunch and enjoy the sunshine before heading home for nap time.
