Back to School Donations Needed

Back to School Season is always an exciting time… probably more exciting for most adults than our children. When we think of Back to School, I can’t help but imagine crisp jeans, newly sharpened pencils and a new back pack. But for some us, this season also brings an extra stress of having to purchase things that are beyond our means.

Fortunately, we live in a community that has many giving and powerful charities, who are willing to sweep in and fill this need.

If you are able, I encourage you to ask your children to pick out extra school supplies while they are picking their own. Then, together, take these items to a donation site near your home.

Below we have provided a list of local charities who are looking for assistant this season:

3. Backpack and School Supply Drive: Use the list they provide and donate physical items in your area.

4. Fund My Classroom: Fund a local classroom in the Grand Rapids area.
