2016 Kitchen Trends: Engineered Stone Countertops

Stone counter tops, like marble and granite have been on the rise over the past decade. But now we’re seeing a rise in engineered stone countertops, like quartz. Quart countertops are man-made and comprised of about 93{16e476496f5f3a73cb19f20a476d08f8bca71b0bf9338242f1d2bf6ed337f382} quartz particles. These types of engineered countertops are becoming more popular because of their strength and durability. Families love that they can stand up to everyday use and last for years without showing wear. 2016 Kitchen Trends: Multi-Colored Cabinets

Lately, we’ve been seeing a lot of kitchens with multiple cabinet colors. Mostly we’ve been noticing darker cabinets on the bottom with lighter paint selections on the top. This helps draw the eye upward and give your kitchen a larger feel. Would you be bold enough to try the multi-colored cabinet look in your home? We’re kind of hoping this trend sticks around for awhile.

Over the years, we’ve gone from pastels to white to stainless steel appliances in our kitchens. But now what? It appears there’s a new player in the appliance game now: black stainless steel.
