CLEAR TO CLOSE! First Time Home Buying Video Series 16

This is an exciting point in the process! We absolutely love when we get an email saying that our clients are “clear to close”, because that means you are one step closer to getting into your new home. So, look forward to getting a call from us and hearing those three words: clear to close.

Once we get the clear to close, the information will go from the lender to the closing department. The closing department will work with the title company to compile all of the necessary papers, make hard copies of the documents and prepare everything for the day of closing.

Once the lenders and title companies have both approved all of the paperwork, they will schedule a closing date.

Questions to ask before your closing:

• Where is the closing?
• Do I need to bring anything extra to the closing? (You will need a photo ID)
• How much money do you need to bring to the closing date? (You will need a certified cashier’s check)
