5 Things You Must Do in Byron Center This Spring

Okay, who else is absolutely lloooooving all of the sunshine in Byron Center this week? We can’t help but appreciate the way the sunlight just pours into our new office windows in downtown Byron Center. It’s pretty incredible working here, we must say.

Finally, spring is (dare we say it?!) finally and completely here! Yeehaw! And what better way to celebrate than by putting together a little list of things we’ve been waiting to do all winter?! 5 Things You Must Do in Byron Center This Spring

#1— Enjoy an ice cream cone @ Houseman’s

You’re never too old to scream for ice cream, am I right? We love dropping into Houseman’s for an ice cream cone. It’s a quick getaway from the house that benefits everyone. We can’t think of an ice cream shop we love more!

#2— Visit the farmer’s market

Byron Center’s Farmers Market is opening May 7!! So. make sure that you head on down to say hello to some of our favorite local vendors. You might even be able to find your mom a beautiful bouquet of flowers!

#3— Spend an afternoon at the park

What better way to ring in the new season than visiting one of the many parks in Byron Center? Have you checked out the list of our favorite Byron Center parks before? Which one is your favorite?

#4— Spend an afternoon grilling with the family

We love this time of year because it means we can get together with our families and spend the afternoon outdoors, grilling, and playing. We typically try and put up some local meat from Byron Center Meats. And this week happens to be their 21st Annual Truckload Sale, so make sure you stop by! What are you grilling this weekend?

#5— Take a drive to the lakeshore
