Byron Center Community Events

Byron Center is a bustling small community in West Michigan.  There are many exciting and family friendly events that are offered through the year.  Here are some favorites:

• Trunk or Treat.  Hosted every late October at Whistlestop Park, local vendors park their cars and pass out candy from the trunks.  Free activities are also available.
• Byron Days.  Every year in late July the community gathers for three days of fun!  Parade, concerts, 5K walk/run, and fireworks all round out the exciting happenings.
• West Michigan Chalk Art Festival.  Held in mid June, this creative venture has seen growth since its innaguration just a couple years ago.  Fun for the artists and art lovers, the chalk art festival ‘paints the town’ with vibrant creations.  Adult and children can participate in the judged categories for monetary prizes.
• Homecoming and Christmas also bring about great community parades down 84th street
