When you become serious about buying home, it’s a good idea to get pre-qualified. To get pre-qualified, you need to contact a lender. We always recommend that you speak with and get quotes two lenders. It’s always wise to meet with a local loan officer. This allows you the opportunity to meet with someone face to face. Buying a house is a big deal and it’s important that you are treated rightly and fairly throughout the process. Meeting locally with someone eliminates the risk of being treated wrongly.

In this video, you will also learn the difference between a pre-approval letter and a pre-qualification letter. These two things are different and they have different outcomes in the process. Be sure that as you begin, you know which of the two you are attaining.
