Byron Center Schools

The community of Byron Center boasts one of the best school districts in the state of Michigan. With over 3,000 students, the school system has been spread over six buildings including three elementary schools hosting K-4 (Brown, Marshall, and Countryside), an intermediate building for 5th and 6th grade, a 7th and 8th grade middle school, and high school.

While academics standards are high (all three elementary schools are above the 90th percentile in the State of Michigan), there are also other great features of the distrct. Some highlights are the community pool, Van Singel Fine Arts auditorium, Room to Bloom Childcare, and successful athletic program.

The school district is undergoing technology and building updates thanks to a bond renewal in 2011. With national blue ribbons and state achievement awards, Byron Center is a small town school district with high standards and unending commitment to its students.

Byron Center also offers other school choices: Zion Christian, Byron Center Christian, and Byron Center Charter.
