Home Buying Tip: Consider Facilities for Pets

Home Buying Tip: Consider Facilities for Pets

Here is week 39 in our series of home buying tips: Consider Facilities For Pets.

If you have dogs, you may need space to bathe them in the utility room. Cat owners need a place for litter boxes. If you’re moving into a condo or a community with an HOA, make sure you know the pet rules before you buy. Consider also how you’ll accommodate your dog if you have times that you can’t easily walk it.

One often overlooked fact for pet owners is that moving day is a day to be on high alert. Dogs, cats, and most other pets would welcome the evening of Independence Day more than moving day.

For that reason, our team keeps a list of local kennels and pet sitters. Email us or give us a call if you want a referral to someone who will take care of your pet on moving day so you can move stress free and then help your pet settle in a safe calm environment.
